Nicole Melichar and Brian Battistone defeated the No. 1 team of Hilary Barte and Nicolas Meister to win the 2012 US Open National Playoffs mixed doubles championship and a wild card into the mixed doubles draw at the US Open.

The 2012 US Open National Playoffs – Women’s Singles Championship was held August 17-20 in conjunction with the New Haven Open at Yale presented by First Niagara, with Alexandra Mueller defeating Mayo Hibi 7-6 (2), 6-3 for the title.

The 2012 US Open National Playoffs – Men’s Singles Championship were held August 17-20 in conjunction with the New Haven Open at Yale presented by First Niagara, with Clement Reix defeating Nicolas Meister 6-2, 6-3 for the title.

The 2012 US Open National Playoffs – Mixed Doubles Championship will take place August 22-25 in conjunction with the New Haven Open at Yale presented by First Niagara, an Emirates Airline US Open Series event, with the mixed doubles champions advancing to the main draw of the 2012 US Open.
