SmashZone, the premiere fan interactive attractionat the US Open, provides fun for the whole family while showcasing the USTA’s ongoing youth participation initiative: 10 and Under Tennis.
Similar to other youth sports in which equipment and playing fields are scaled to size for kids, 10 and Under Tennis gives children the chance to achieve immediate success by playing tennis on smaller courts, using smaller and lighter racquets, and slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls.
Get your kids fitted for the right-sized racquet, and you and your children will have fun playing together on SmashZone’s Center Court or on an accompanying 36-foot court.
Additional fun-filled activities for all ages include:
• Engage in fitness games that improve footwork, balance and agility
at Topspin presented by Xerox.
• Clock your serve in Sport Court Fast Serve.
• Broadcast a US Open championship point in You Call the Shots.
SmashZone is located in the Chase Center, so stop by and play tennis
at the US Open.
